Murder hits the Paper for the first time Anne Scripps Douglas, 47, was found unconscious in her bedroom after relatives called police.
Police said her missing husband, Scott Stuart Douglas, is the main suspect. He drove off after allegedly assaulting his wife as their 3-year-old daughter lay sleeping in the next room. His car was found early Saturday on the Tappan Zee Bridge with the motor running.
